The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don't have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun! This is a weekly event! And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added! We get over 200 links every week!!
This week's question comes from Christina who blogs at The Paperback Princesses.
"When you read a book that you just can't get into, do you stick it out and keep reading or move to your next title?"
My answer: it depends on why I'm reading the book. Life is to short to read something you don't like if you don't have to read it. Many times we have to - it's an assignment for a class, it's for a job or whatever. I usually give it the first chapter or 50 page test. If I'm still struggling by then and it's not required reading, I close the book and move on to something else.

Hi! I'm hopping by to say hello. I haven't put very many books down, especially if they've been sent to me for review. Sometimes you just have to.
Have a great weekend.
Teresa: Thanks for stopping by. If I'm reviewing a book that a publisher sent me or one my principal asked me to review then I stick with it to the end no matter how I feel half way through. And those books I have put down with out finishing, I sometimes pick up again later. I did that with The Book Thief and boy am I glad I did. I loved it. Sometimes it's just not the right time for that book and you do need to visit it later.
Just hopping by! I feel unbearably guilty when I can't finish a book

Hey there! Visiting you (and following you, now) from the blog hop. If you want to return the favor, stop on by The Book Frog.
My answer to the question of the day is here.
I'm interested in your YA dystopian fiction challenge. Are you going to read The Hunger Games? I adored the whole trilogy--very smart, with such a capable, captivating heroine.
Happy blogging! Hope to hear from you over on The Book Frog.
Becky
Rebecca:
The YA book challenge is sponsored by Bart's Book Shelf. And I've actually read the entire Hunger Games Trilogy. I've not blogged about it yet. I loved it though. And I'm a little concerned because I'm hearing that it's going to be a movie. I know I'll be tempted to see it, but I'm afraid I'll be disappointed. Thanks for stopping by. I'll hop on over and check out your blog.

You are right, life is just too short to keep going when you don't like something.
